But it can be a difficult task to find the right type of product because there are different types of CBD oil s available in the market. So, the purpose of this article is to clarify your doubts about CBD oil.

Categories Of CBD Oil

Legally available CBD oil is made from hemp plant strains that have less than 0.3% of psychotropic THC because this minuscule amount cannot produce the high associated with it. There are mainly three types of CBD oils, full-spectrum, broad-spectrum, and pure CBD oil. The first type is legal CBD oil with THC containing all the cannabinoids naturally found in the hemp plant. The second type of CBD oil is further refined to remove THC completely, and the last one is made using CBD isolate, i.e. 99% cannabidiol. Both full-spectrum and broad-spectrum CBD oils have the added advantage of the entourage effect which enhanced the individual effect of each cannabinoid.

Types Of CBD Oils

There are three types of CBD oils, raw CBD oil, decarboxylated CBD oil, and filtered CBD oil. CBD benefits also depend on the methods used for processing the CBD oil. Let us see what these three types are.

  • Raw CBD Oil: It is obvious from the name that raw CBD oil does not undergo any processing after its extraction. Hence, it contains all the cannabinoids, terpenes, flavonoids, lipids, waxes, and even chlorophyll in it. The color of this oil is dark green due to chlorophyll in it. Moreover, it is also rich in the raw form of cannabidiol (CBD) called cannabidiolic acid (CBDA). It is usually produced by the CO2 extraction process because it is safer.
  • Decarboxylated CBD Oil: This type of CBD oil is the most commonly available one and it undergoes the decarboxylation process, i.e. slow heating. Heat converts the raw cannabinoids like CBDA into CBD which is more readily available to the endocannabinoid system (ECS) of our body. The decarboxylation process removes the carboxyl group, and it is released as carbon dioxide. Finally, it is useful for those who have moderate anxiety issues, migraines, and arthritis.
  • Filtered CBD Oil: This is the most widely purchased CBD oil. It is highly refined and has a golden color. Moreover, it has the highest CBD concentration among the three types of CBD oils and hence is the most expensive. It can be either a full-spectrum or broad-spectrum product and is suitable for mitigating a wide variety of ailments.

We hope that the details shared above will help in your purchase of CBD oil for mitigating your ailments.
